Workplace wellbeing concept. Creating employee benefits and satisfaction programs. Fosteri

Empower your Staff. Transform your Culture.

I strive to transform professional learning and corporate training from a routine requirement into a powerful strategic asset. I offer custom consultation for districts, schools, nonprofits, or corporate organizations that want to create top-tier training programs aligned with national accreditation standards.

In addition to consultation, I lead dynamic emotional intelligence training that helps organizations strengthen collaboration, build supportive cultures, and sustain motivation. These sessions are designed to ease the pressures of chronic stress, improve retention, and spark long-term growth.

For special educators, I deliver a specialized curriculum drawn from my book, Transformational Tools for Special Educators: How to Beat Burnout and Become the Best at What You Do, offering both live and online options that are practical, interactive, and built for lasting impact.

Consulting

Katrina works with organizations to build training programs grounded in evidence and in the human factors that determine whether learning actually sticks.

Her work spans two interconnected areas: developing emotional intelligence as a measurable professional competency, and learning and development consulting for organizations seeking to design, improve, or seek accreditation for their training programs.

Areas of Expertise

  • Core Skill Development: Integrating EI as a core professional competency to reduce burnout and thrive in the workplace. Katrina's approach is neuroscience-informed, outcome-oriented, and designed for adult learners in demanding roles.

  • Learning & Development Consulting: Full-cycle instructional design, needs analysis, gap analysis, and program development. Katrina has particular depth and experience in national accreditation — guiding organizations through the requirements for continuing education units, professional credentialing, and assessment-based certificate programs.

How Engagements Begin

Every project starts with a Discovery Phase: a structured review of your organization's current training landscape, priorities, and goals. Deliverables include a summary of strengths and gaps, a defined scope of work, and a preliminary plan with estimated costs and timeline.

Training for any Organization

Live emotional intelligence (EI) training to audiences in any setting, from education to nonprofit to corporate organizations.

EI training is specifically created to meet client goals, equipping participants with practical skills to strengthen collaboration, resilience, and performance. Research clearly shows that integrating EI into professional development and training increases job satisfaction and retention while reducing the chronic stress and disengagement that lead to burnout.
